Pitcher Usage

I am playing in a 2 division 10 team per division league. Fantasy. I use 4 man rotations. I recently had a starting pitcher injured for 8 days with a minor quad injury. I skipped his turn in the rotation and started a RP with a 60 end. He went about 5 innings. I pulled him in the middle of an inning. The next inning I went to bring in another RP and my original RP was listed as available and at 100%. I was able to bring him back into the game.
