i can turn on/off the weapons but i can't change the ammo type?

i want to change high explosive ammo to armor piercing.

It's 100% Auto-Matic.

If you're up against a tank, you'll use AP, against Infantry or a truck, HE, if you're up against something your AP can't puncture, APCR, or HEAT, depends, not sure what causes HEAT to be used.
