the rest of the world definitely should give up a little thanks on July 14th, a day that had ramifications far beyond France. sorry I have no idea how to say anything in French.

Je ne comprend pas, pour quelle raison les Français vont feter [comment ça fait-il à mettre l'accent circonflexe avec un clavier italien?] le jour de l'anniversaire de mon épouse.
