Want to change Mods, need help!

I have CHS mod, and few skin packs thats about it, was wondering if anyone could give me an idea what other mods would be good to check out, wanting to start my new campaign, not looking for anything specific really.

Big B is a further refinement of CHS (or so i've been told)...

Some other mods are NikMod, and there are also the EOS mods (which add a bunch of stuff... i don't think they are playable beyond a few months of gameplay due to buffer overflow errors with too many pilots.)

I appreciate you responding to me rtrapasso, I was confused on reading so many search index's on the mods, I really had no clue what "RHS and CHS" were, some say CHS is the best, and RHS is the newest. I simply wanted to know which was best all round, maybe I did not explain my original message good enough.

BB and CHS are the most popular, but RHS is a good walk on the wildside in its many flavours... I particularly like the maps for RHS and NY59Giants version of BB on RHS maps is something to enjoy.

I'm currently playing Nemo's EA, which is a tough economic mod, not for the faint of heart, but with plenty of nuggets.

I enjoyed BB when I played it in my first PBEM, good for china too (read the faq).

Depends what you like, i guess... i've avoided RHS as it seems to change every week or so (or it did for a while)... maybe it's settled down by now, but a number of players complained that the innovations in it made it unplayable... then a new version would show up to try to fix the problem... rinse... repeat.

WITP has some complex spaghetti code, and introducing new, innovative concepts tends to throw a monkey wrench into the works, but the monkey wrench might not find its way into the gears for a couple of months after start of game play. Personally, i had gotten tired of restarting games due to game mechanic issues.

Maybe all that is fixed now, but i remain an RHS skeptic.

I played CHS and RHS all the way thru and recommend both.

Well I tried to install to install RHS, and some of the aircraft images were wrong, and I am sure I installed it correctly, example the Beaufort has the P-38 skin, I must of screwed up somewhere I guess I dont know.

I think I am going to wipe it out and try Big B mod, I basically want to further my game playing, going to play the AI as Allied and Japanese and make 2 separate campaigns.

CHS was nice, however I really just wanted to test out other mods to see which I like. I figure until AE is actually done I want to continue learning for when AE comes out
