It has been a long time since I wrote anything on this forum, though I kept reading all these years. This is just to say thanks for what you have done and for the joy of a pre- release manual. Thank you.

We are actually going to read the manual before trying this monster {my wife's description of AE} out.  I don't think I've ever read the directions of anything before.  This is going to be a new experience.

Hi folks, I go to the members section and click on WITP downloads for some strange reason I'm asked for a password, never had that problem before
Ron

Unless one has saved in their browser the password you would always be prompted for it.

Sometimes if you update a browser, you may loss settings in old one
or something may occur causing loss... Why one should buy 5 Pocket memo books and copy all passwords and logins to it (Not your real important ones like to bank...that you keep in a different) copy to mutiple Memo books, keep one by PC, put others in safe keeping...
like one in a bank safety deposit box [:D]

Just keeping in One memo book...if loss...

Noise? What Noise? It's sooooo quiet and Peaceful!

Took a while to sort out for me too. My username was not what I use on forum and last login was: 10/8/2005 6:26:00 AM [:D][:D]

At least I was able to recover things with my email. Now to read the manual. [8D]

Downloaded successfully! Looks great. The resolution on this one seems higher than the excerpt we saw earlier.

Is this the place to post minor nits? I did encounter one sentence, at the top of page 42, that puzzled me. "Each hex on the map has potential to hold a base, port, airfield, ground units, ships, air units, and industry." Maybe that means that we can use the editor to put such things anywhere? Not a big deal, but it did confuse me a tad.

Anyway, I haven't gotten much further than that so far, but so far so good. Can't wait to play. :)

Even though I'm still learning the ropes in WitP, I still can't wait to get into AE.  Thank for the manual ... looks great.  Can not wait until I can hold a hard copy though.  Nothing like good reading material!   [:)]
