Problems w/ Windowed Mode

Game seems to run fine at 1024 x 768 full screen. I tried running game in windowed mode to have access to the manual as I played. However, after closing and restarting the game, the start game screen screen (after the first two splash screens) is totally unreadable [&:].

After restarting the game a few times w/ no change, I uninstalled and reinstalled program to get back to the full screen mode. Not a game breaker for me because I prefer full screen but I've had no problems w/ other windowed games.

Also, while attempting to window the game, I received a DivX download update notice. I downloaded the latest codec but was still a no go.

Could you pease tell me under what resolution you are running windowed mode and what if your default desktop resolution?

Also a screen would be very valuable.

Thanks for the quick reply...I tried running windowed at 960 x 600 ( the only available windowed mode resolution shown) and my default desktop is 1024 x 768.

I reinstalled the game and didn't save a picture of the screen. The first splash screens ran fine but the main game menu screen was completely blank and intro music was playing.

Go to main game folder and look for /data/ folder
find GlobalSettings.csv file,
the best way to edit it is to open it via notepad
look for the first number

If your current desktop resolution is 1280x1024 then game will not allow you to run in 1280x1024 Windowed, because it will not fit the screen. Only smaller windowed modes are allowed.

that i know. But where ist the problem ? With 1024 x 768, scrolling only within the window.
But i want scroll when the mouse go left or right out my desktop.

If you use windowed programm all you do is within the window
