RE: Does no one in this forum work?
I have three jobs/projects (including AE) in addition to my day job - I think I average 100-110 hours of "work" per week - but then I guess I still don't work all the time (leaves 58 to 68 hours for sleep, eat, shower, etc.) So some of us work a little bit! [:D]

Work? What for? I've got no time for work! [:)]

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

My real life empire sort-of runs itself now a days, so I can devote my time to WitP.

Right now? No, I don't work. Anyone have a job for someone with 28+ years of computer experience, a bachelor's degree in Atmospheric Sciences, and a recent MBA in Aviation Management? [:)]

You are over-qualified[:-]

RE: Does no one in this forum work?
Found a way to merge work and interests years ago, as they're both tied around pc/internet and can be accomplished from home office. I have several rigs running here and don't really distinguish between work and leisure time. Can do my job while playing a game and still earn my livings.

I'd still like an explanation as to why a self-styled "boat bum" gets off on asking the rest of us if we work.

I was a professional warrior from the time I graduated from college.(I really wanted to BE "James Bond" from the time I was in high school)..
Real life and a few years of combat cured me of that.(LOL)..
Remained active duty in harms way with the local constabulary, just about every assignment possible in a big city, but nothing is more common than the divorce rate, so, I stayed single till I was over 40.
Now, having been married to my soul-mate for a number of years, I find it easy to relax and finally put humor in my life, and have stopped being so violent on reaction to others stupidity.
I still work full time but I have no intention to retire, ever.
I come here to relax and learn.[;)]

Work is a four letter word![:@]
Apart from being offensive as a word the concept is entirely repugnant to any true devotee of exploring history through games. Work, like life, has a annoying habit of getting in the way of the really good and important things in life. Like good Canadian beer, hockey and devastating victories over your PBEM opponents.[:D][:D]

My wife told me I'll be working until they throw me in the box. So I find plenty of time to play too![8D]
RE: Does no one in this forum work?
Since I love what I do, I do not really consider it work. But I do manage to spend about 65 or so hours a week ( much more in winter/early spring ) seeing clients, managing an office, etc. But it is very nice earning a living while having fun. So I do not call it work [:)]

RE: Does no one in this forum work?
I gave up work and became a college professor six years ago. Work just took up too much of my time. I might go back to it some day if it weren't so damn time consuming. I keep looking for work that requires not time committment, but to no avail. They all seem to want me to do something for my pay. So I spend my waiting and waiting with all of you.
