Marine Corps band sounds better

Post by Cathartes »

I always thought the Japanese had it great with their rousing cheer when they take a base. In comparison the Allied cheer was a rather anemic "hip, hip, hooray" recited as if they all just got out of bed.

Now you can get a little dose of Marine Corp hymn when you snag a base. Feel free to give it a try and just unzip to your sound folder. I realize it's not quite historic if other Allied forces take a base hex, but it gets the blood flowing nonetheless.

Make sure you back up the 1701.SFX file in case you don't want.

Enjoy!

psst: hey bub, it will work with AE too.

Even at that, it's still better than Chinese units sounding like a bunch of drunken Ozzies on a panty raid.
Put my faith in the people
And the people let me down.
So, I turned the other way,
And I carry on anyhow.

You can also go to Spookie's site where I posted an American flag raising bugle with battle sounds a couple of years ago.
