Pegasus Bridge

Post by panzerlehr62 »

Just bringing this up because it falls into same grouping as Brevands and I need a official ruling. When the Germans enter Pegasus from Colombelles (ie 192/21PZ), should they be given a bridgehead on the other side of the river (Benouville side of the river). I am noticing the river isnt large enuff (or exit/entry flag was to close to river) and there is a small section given to the Germans similar to Allies at Brevands before the change was made (ie more ground added to keep allies on one side of the river). Either way, was this intended on purpose or are the Germans expected to have to fight to cross that bridge before they are allowed on the Benouville side when entering the map from Colombelles?

Edit: By the way Ive never seen a situation like this either. The flag I got on the other side of the river was under German control. I had never even taken the bridge flag yet before the previous german BG left the map.

Gz..
