Database question... scenario 1

Checking the Japanese airplane database... N1K1 Rex, type float fighter, but not Float Capable. Just wondering if that was correct.

This is correct. If the type is float plane or float fighter, there's no need for it to be float capable. If you scroll up the database and look at the Seiran, you'll see it's a float capable torpedo bomber.
