hi all,

in WITP, it was possible to change the standart font with this command to a better visible version. now this command seems not to work in AE or is it a different command there to change the game font?

Nope, still -altFont (typed EXACTLY like that). Check the What's New file for a list of command line switches.

I don't think you can run add the switches to the Main Menu shortcut.
You need to create a shortcut to the program or modify the Quick Start shortcut
"C:\Matrix Games\War In The Pacific Admiral's Edition\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -r -altFont -dual

now that was the solution for the problem. thanks michael. i realy find that this alternative font is easier to read and looks better then the standart one but thats a personal opinion.

Nice that fixed my windows mode running in parallels on my Mac, was applying the modifiers to the wrong shortcut.

Yah. The installation pops a shortcut to the Game Menu on the desktop. I always remove that and copy the Quick Start shortcut to the desktop instead. Have done it for every single Matrix game I've played.

32 bit colour support, which I suppose would only be relevant in full-screen mode. I've never used it myself, because I play in a window.
