No. 1 oil point is the equivalent of 1 ton.

Nor have I. Is Cobra OK?
I contacted Peter maybe a year ago, couple of weeks after his old computer took a powder and he had lost some of his artwork.
He told me he was going to spend some time with his grand kids for a while. He knows we miss him.

Sounds like he has his priorities straight...[:)]

RE: Admiral's Edition Map Thread
That's a relief - thanks. I was worried but didn't know that anybody had off-forum contact for him. Too bad about his artwork. He is pretty darn talented!

Also i note we have a few melbournites, we should try for a Witp drinks session again one day like we did years ago with raverdave and cobra
Hey, i'd love to be in. I'm a Melbournite - just not 'in' Melbourne - if that makes sense?? And sadly i dont expect to be in Melbourne for a while. Did not know you guys ever got together to be honest. Or was it a once off that has never happened again?

Yes why not? Actually I haven't seen Cobra posting here for ages...

Hmm, smell a trap. What if the idea is to get you stupified and have you divulge classified AE information like Terminus' true identity?
Where's the Any key?

RE: Admiral's Edition Map Thread
That's the idea, then I get my mates who did time in the Danish Army to "disconnect" him

RE: Admiral's Edition Map Thread
He does not have an identity. Terminus is an infiltration unit. He consists of a hyper-alloy chassis covered by flesh and blood grown for the purpose. He is here to tease you while AE is programmed. It's what he does. It's the only thing he does.

You still don't get it, do you? Terminus will find you! That's what he does! That’s ALL he does! You can't stop him! He'll wait for you! He'll reach down your throat and tear your heart out! Once he gets his mission, you can’t stop him. You can NEVER stop him!

RE: Admiral's Edition Map Thread
Upgradable Roads. Is there any way to have upgradable roads in AE ?. The reason I ask is because the road to the Arakan (Northern Burma) from Bengal was upgraded prior to the 2nd battle there in 1944. Would this be a feature that could be incorporated later maybe ?

RE: AE Map, Base, Economic Issues
Hi-Some map questions re AE.
1. Is there somewhere a table of distances between major bases?I.e., distance in hexes from SFO to PH.(it's 56 hexes, but I had to measure it out.)
2. Is the ship route between Perth and Colombo still available? Or, does one use off-map movement? If both, which is better time-wise?
3.I note that a PBY's transfer range is 54 hexes. That makes transfer between SFO & PH impossible, directly. Historically, I thought a PBY could go from SFO to PH in one jump.
Thanks, Hugh Browne
