Computer changed sides

Hi, Im playing scen 1 as the allies against computer AI jap. 1 day turns, everything running fine. I ran the turn Dec 12, 1941. I saw a unit 1/84th Naval Guard unit arrive at saipan (this was on the screen as the turn was ending), and I thought that was odd. when the turn finnished, I was now the Jap player. I have the saves.

after saving the game, and reloading the save, it switched back to the Allied player. weird

It did it again, switched sides on me. this time during the dec 13 41 into dec 14 41 turn. When I save it, and reload the turn for Dec 14th, I am back to the right side (allied). I have the game set to Jap computer. any Idea why this is happening and anyway to fix it?
