Can't download AE

After downloading I can't open the file. I get the error message: "archive integrity check failed. Incomplete download or corrupted file"
Then when I try to re-download, I get an error message that I am blocking your cookie, and if I am not blocking cookies I need to delete cookie file 200095C01. I have no idea what that even means, let alone how to do it.
HELP!
p.s. I have no computer skills. I just play the game.
Oh, and I did check my tool bar for internet options and I am not blocking any cookies.

Try clearing your internet cache and your cookies, then see if you can re-download by logging into www.findmyorder.com with your order info. If that doesn't work, please e-mail me at erikr@matrixgames.com with your Order ID.

I don't get that far. At either 11 meg or 32 meg of the download, it just refuses to download any more. No errors, it just seems that it can't get the next part of the file while the session is still active.

Gave it a 12 hour break and tried again. Using IDM 5.17 and tried segmentation this time. Quite early on 3 of the segments stopped downloading, then eventually only 2 of the segments downloaded fully. I don't seem to have been locked out, but only got a total of 48.08% dowloaded before all remaining segnments were no longer downloading. It looks like there are several points in te file, where it will not download a particular segment and that stops the download dead even though the downloader still says it is connecting and receiving data.

As I am not actually getting any error message, not really sure what I can do. Normally I'd try another mirror, but not sure whether this is an option. Any thoughts?

We don't have any problems on the server side or any other reports of downloading problems, so unfortunately I have to assume that it's something specific to your internet connection. Are you in any way being throttled or limited in bandwidth by your ISP?

I don't think I'm being throttled. Getting good speed until it just - stops....

Since this seems to be my issue alone, I'll try to borrow a friend's connection later on the weekend and see if that works ok.

I think I'll put it down to adverse weather conditions. My friend had no issues. I am now happy as a pig in the proverbial......
