Quick training effectiveness test

Post by erstad »

Using the stock scenario 1, I ran until Jan 1 to get the first bump of new pilots. I received 139 IJN, and 160 IJA.

I then restarted, and on turn 1 assigned 15 IJN pilots to the training command from the reserve pools. This time on Jan 1 I got 154 IJN, and 181 IJA, an increase of 36.

So, based on the limited test, I got roughly 2 additional pilots for each pilot put in training. (Experience 35, of course. Woo-hoo!)

Also, note the increase was roughly even between IJA and IJN, looks like it doesn't matter which force the pilots are from.

Caveats:
There's probably some "random" built in, YMMV
I didn't think to track the whole pipe. 36 extra coming out is good but did all areas of the pipe just move faster or did guys already in the pipe jump a month or ??? Can't say.
