Windowed mode

Post by borsook79 »

Currently to use windowed mode you have to choose res lower than your current screen res. But maybe it could be changed so that a resolution equal to screen res can be chosen also too? It works very well in e.g. SC2, allowing one to play like in full screen but with much better ALT-Tabing

We have decided for such restriction as then you won't see the buttons in the right bottom corner of the screen

The problem is if we run ToW in windowed mode equal to screen resolution, window is automatically resized to fit on desktop (so it is smaller). Anyway, with next patch you will be able select this resolution.

Great to hear! the buttons' function, even if invisible can be called via keyboard so it should not be such a big problem. :)
