Supply Convoy in Capetown

Post by Barneyrubb90 »

Trying to understand the value and how to benefit from the supply convoy unit that shows up in Capetown (30 merchants and a tanker) loaded with fuel and supplies and with a withdrawal deadline.

Does this just unload into Capetown and fills my cargo task forces or do I need to do something else....

Making lots of little mistakes but so far so good. Gotta take a break and get some sleep.

This is a means of bringing a big chunk of supply into capetown in one "bucket" ... an "OOB trick".

A follow-up...the supply convoy is still sitting (29 Dec 1941) in Capetown and leaves in 2 days, it shows it still has lots of supply the port is at 2100 and falling and my AK's have finally arrived and are loading for return to theater but not getting the supplies.

Do I need to do something to force the Supply Convoy to unload?

Thanks,
John

Updated. Playing Scenario # 2, first convoy sat in Capetown and never unloaded. Second Convoy which arrived on 4 Jan 1942 completely unloaded making supplies available. I am assuming this is the correct behavior.
