Continous turn option not working

I select continuous turns from the in game preference screen and when I executes the turn it only does one day.

I posted that earlier. According to michaelm this is only support to work for computer versus computer. I didn't ask why, but it is apparently working as intended.

Would be nice if it weren't restricted.

Continuous turns are used for debugging/testing. Not sure this mode was intended for other purposes.

It worked in the original WitP.

I used it all the time in the original WitP.  Would commonly let the game play up to ten turns (days) particularly during 1942 and 43.

Is it possible to fix this issue in an upcoming patch?
