Cota Mapmaker for BftB Scenarios

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

In fact I invented the bridges. Maybe I did overstepped.[8|]

I used a mixture of three maps. One is a photomontage of two Osprey maps. The others are a two modern maps of Google Maps. The three maps do not match exactly, but close enough to give enough accuracy

Although the tracks and the vegetation are not of 1944, I tried to respect the main roads and villages of 1944.
I decided that almost nothing was clear ground, to represent typical fields of Normandy. I painted all with heide, orchard and wood. I don't know if that it's ok.[&:]

For Italy maps, I don't know. I suppose the modern maps can be used to create good topography maps and the position of some towns, but not for infrastructures and urban areas.

Thanks again.[;)]

Hi all
I am working to improve the Omaha beach map[8|]

While I made a Eivissa island map to practise Map Maker.
Not is a 1940s realistic map, but is a beatiful island to make funny invasion fictional scenarios[:D].
I'm testing with reinforced and adapted forces of Malta scenario. When I finish it, I'll upload it.

Looks like you've got the mapmaker utility figured out.
