Houston, We Have A Problem

And not the CA Houston, which would be a good thing. My Sara and Lady Lex CVs went into refit at Pearl in March '42 and look what Santa brought me:

Thats right, 1 squadron of F4U-1D Corsairs per CV. Pretty damned fancy considering they aren't done researching it.

Hehe...Brewsters and Corsairs on the same carrier [:D]

I suspect an entrepeneurial influence.

Hell, re-equip the AVG with them and you can be eating lunch on the Ginza in two months flat!

I can imagine having one fighter squadron with Brewsters and another with Corsairs on the same ship would cause some friction in the ready room.

This happened to me as well. It was early January and I was sending my three carriers to Sidney and the buffalo and vindicator squadron showed up on the Sara or Lex (can't remember which). Fortunately, I was right next to Noumea so I droped them off there. Instant air suppor for Noumea. Sweet.[8D]

But I don't think it was supposed to happen that way.

So if you bring it in next month, I hear they swap out the Buffalo's for F6F-5's...[:D]

Wow nice....now you just need to research some F-14 tomcats and a Nimitz nuclear carrier as well [:D]
