BWAAHAHHAHAHAHAA! Just sunk the Mutsu with Vildebeests out of Singapore[:)]. After losing Manila on Jan 1, 1942 my troops needed a morale boost.

My thanks to the entire AE team, I'm enjoying the fruit of their labor. I think a PBEM is in order for me after the first patch[8D]

Woof !! was just watching the History Channel, and learned that Abu Whodadoodoo made a map in the 15th century that showed the Antartictic coastline without ice cover; obviously with help from ancient astronauts.

Somebody ought to tell these folks that this is NOT politically correct. If Antarctica was not once covered with ice, then the present situation, where ice is receding, is normal. This is NOT in corformance with present political theory.

History Channel has to decide just whose butt they kiss. I would dearly love to see von Danekin and that Gore piece of feces, with shotguns at 2 paces. Hoo Yah.
that's ok i just watched a special on the military channel about some medel of honor winners and they had the north koreans represented by south korean flags[8|]

Good Thread, no! I don't indulge in that stuff.[X(]

Besides, a whole bottle would most likely mean that I'd end up like the loser I saw drunkenly sprawled on the floor of the train station waiting room at just before 7AM on Monday.

Today's thought (just to get it out of the way): Japan spent the years prior to the war preparing for the Decisive Battle, in which the US fleet would advance across the Pacific to the Philippines, into a battlespace the IJN could control, to be whittled down and destroyed.

By attacking Pearl Harbor and eliminating the USN battleline, the IJN robbed themselves of the possibility of the Decisive Battle for several years, thus killing off their own pre-war doctrine.

Yep... and they simply didn't know what to do next... the Midway operation was result of that...
