Vista 64 video screen draw issue

Post by pdsfga10 »

I had this issue with my Toshiba Hybrid. When clicking on the screen, the screen would either jump or go black. What I did was turn off SLI mode on my X305-708 in the power options and use the 9400M only. All my issues vanished. Hope this can be of some help. SLI mode may be an issue on some machines. On my hybrid, it was.[:)]

I caught that disclaimer when I was reading the help files and KB Articles.... naturally this was AFTER I spent the $600 on the upgrade. Its funny though, the 64bit version works WAY better than the 32bit version under XP64. There is a huge part of me that is considering rebuilding the box to just XP, but that is a real waste of what is essentially a server andf 4gb of memory.
