why cant i load austrailian army on ships, getting attacked by japs on island near austrailia, loads of army and ships at sydney, but cant do anything with them. do i have to wait untill a certain date before they will load onto ships ?

I think they are in restricted command (the one with (R)). You need to reassign them to unrestricted one by spending PPs (political points).

They also need to be in Strateg move mode to load into Transport TF (combat mode works for amphibs TFs).

Have you checked to see if they are assigned to a restricted HQ?  Check to see if there is an (R) next to the HQ name.  If that's the case, they aren't going anywhere until you spend the PPs to change them to a non-restricted HQ.

I had the same problem that worked when I changed the command to Aust 1st Corp but when I had them set to Pacific or Sw Pac the unit didn't show to be able to load it even though it was in trans mode or combat mode when using an either kind of tf. Am I missing something here or a bug? The unit will load if attached to Aust 1 Corp but not Pacific or Sw Pac [&:]

Thanks for the tip on strategic mode.  I was getting rather frustrated!  I actually went into the editor and removed the restricted status from most units lol
