BUG Airgroups training while on ships

I transported 4 squadrons of a fighter group from the west coast to OZ they were set to training-escort prior to being loaded up. The turn they unloaded and appeared at the base they seemed fine. Next turn I have 4 squadrons of crack pilots each with roughly half being 90+ in the air skill, and the rest having at least trained up significantly.
