toggle buttons dissappear

toggle buttons dissappear

Hi, just wondering if anybody has encountered the same problem or can help: when im into the game i can bring up units by clicking on the icons,however all the buttons on the top menu bar have dissappeared and also the round toggle buttons that allow to change things within the units so im stuck with just the settings they have.... any ideas???
