A fun game!

From the front lines in France and Russia to the deserts of North Africa and the airfields and convoys of Britain, the campaigns of World War II are yours to command in WW2: Time of Wrath! This turn-based grand strategy title, the highly improved and expanded sequel to WW2: Road to Victory, puts the player in charge of the political, economic and military decisions of one or more Axis or Allied nations, including minor nations.

It's a fun game but the inaccurancies need to be ironed out.

I was playing the USSR and all the units became hugely weak as soon as the Germans attacked!  How can USSR win under this handicap?  Also, to defeat Finland you need to occupy EVERY town - totally insane. Once Helsinki, Turku and Tampere had fallen, that would have been the end of Finland.

After several turns it's starting to get back to normal (pre-war). Battle contact with Germans was a shock for Red Army.

You must only get all cities with VP, which also means Petsamo. Finns are a tough nation.

Believe me the Soviets can win, but like the real war it will not be easy in the first months. The first time you see the "weakness" you are as shocked as the Red Army was, with "Damn, these guys are good!" changing to "Oh crap!", but that is what makes for excitement. Never fear, the Germans begin to be challenged as they drive onwards. Keep plugging, it does improve for the Red Army, just like it really did.

marklv....I raised the same question in a thread I called "What just Happened?"....there are some replies there that address this concern.
