.hta problems

I need to know how to set the .hta and htafile registry keys. I did what was posted on the FAQ sticky and it definitely did not work. RCG, RBG both non functional.

did you ever get this resolved? what version of IE explorer are you using? Im not sure if there are problems with IE 8 or not, as i only have ie 6 and 7 loaded.

I'm not positive, but i beleive someone reported that they were not able to run those apps using IE8. (I'm running ie 6 and ie 7 so can't say for sure).

But, I do understand that they work with revised versions that are part of next patch, which should be coming out soon.

You might look for posts by JudgeDredd i think, i believe he was one who indicated the supplemental apps broke with IE 8.
