Support?

I've just recently bought UV. I've tried to go through the manual and re-read old posts on the subject, but to no avail!!! What is the quick and dirty way to increase support to a unit?

So support away from a base doesn't matter?

I believe it does, however there is no quick way to check the support level in a hex without a base in the same hex.

You must count the hex support level up manually.

Hey, hey, hey, heeyyy!!![:'(]

That will be enough of that my friend. You´ll have the fanbois in here screaming like the fire brigade flying into hell. Then after that will come the forum police with their trugeons.

And don´t even ask about ¨-¨, don´t even think about it.[:-]

whew, now with that out of the way.

I can´t really see that being a big problem although I agree it should be displayed in non base hexes. In Trail and Road hexes for example.

In the game, 90% of the time you will be at a base hex. The other 10% you will be moving to a base hex. The entire game revolves around occupying and taking base hexes.

I don´t believe I´ve ever had a reason to count up my support levels at a non base hex. Perhaps you might have to but this would be a very rare event.

There is a lot of good game in UV for just $20, try one of the small scenarios.

Oh yeah, the game is definately worth the $20! I'm just a little obsessive, compulsive and I like to have all of the I's dotted and the T's crossed....

Treale,

This is a game based on WWII naval warfare.
You don't ever want to have your T's crossed...

BTW, where in central Florida are you?
I'm in Longwood, just north of Orlando

Ah, Yes. Crossing your opponet's "T" was very desirable in the gun phase of naval warfare!!

I'm in Citrus County, Beverly Hills to be exact. I have a sister that lives in Orlando.
