Menu bar. List all task force. Choice missing

On the "List all TF" menu card I can´t find no solution to select only the escort TF?
Something overseen by my side?

Sorry, there is no sub category for Escort TFs. They only appear in the total list. At one time they were part of the Transport Group, but have since been removed.

Question here. If you form an Escort TF but only put Surface Combat capable ships into it, it will revert to a Surface Combat TF, not an Escort TF. Is that intended?

Not necessarily intended but a natural result of the TF scanner, which is ready to reclassify TFs if they do not match their mission. An air combat TF with no carriers, for instance. Since this scanner will convert or divide damaged TFs, it's just normal behavior to reclassify non-damaged TFs.
