3 Event Issues

Post by carnifex »

The first one is self explanatory as can be seen in the included screenshot.

The second event issue was when I was playing the UK, and the Germans chose unrestricted submarine warfare. As the UK player, I received this notification twice in a row. Please make sure this event is not firing twice and/or doubling the sub warfare effects.

The third event related issue is that the text should be "u-boats strike again" not "u-boots".

1. It's strange as in the files it looks fine.
2. Effect occurs only once
3. U-boat is the anglicized version of the German word 'U-Boot'

As the axis, I see the U-boot strikes again event over and over again for GB.  I thought that was intentional not really knowing what it did.

I've seen that USSR event as well.

It seems that subs activity is high.

I don't know why this Leningrad event fired like that, Im sure that the text is written (at least now).

Right, but I'm not playing the German version of the game, so I expect to see anglicized terms. Boots are something we use to walk in, so every time I see "Sending enough U-Boots to hit the convoys might help to win the war" I laugh . Another shipment of Doc Martens to help win the war!

As long as I'm being anal about events, this text is from many events xml files:

War in Europe raise with every day and it's not known when it will reach our borders. It is cruicial to prepare country to war.

Cruicial should be crucial, and the "War in Europe raise with every day" text doesn't make sense. Also it should be "our" country and "for" instead of "to". Recommend you change text to something like "The flames of war rise higher every day and soon they might reach our borders. It is crucial to prepare our country for war."

Martens saved Red Army
OK, I can change it, but maybe it would be better to call it submarine?

Will do, thanks for the tip

U-Boats or submarine. In this context, U-boats 'should' be fine but agree with carnifex, U-boots is strange. If you insist in using that, you should spell it out completely in german.
