Weirdness with the French loaned provinces. I wonder if Normandy and Brittany will revert to French control now that our agreement has run out. I don't see a French flag on the province window anymore.

Might be a new bug.

I suspect they will stay Spanish as Spain conquered them from you. Will be interesting to see if you get hit by a Glory penalty each turn you don't return them to France though...

This is probably a pre-patch bug as I haven't seen it come up in post-patch games, but pretty funny.... or I like to poke fun at my misfortunes. [:D] Add Venetia to the list of provinces absolutely refusing to become conquered by the French and obtaining permanent neutral status. [:@]

I don't have any association with them anymore. My control of them ended last month. No red border anymore.

So I guess they will revert to French control when the war ends? Or maybe next turn?

Probably because the real capital of Venetia is now Corfu which I occupy. I think that was causing the issue prepatch, the capital of minors was shifting around, but it doesn't display where the new capital is going.

Same issue with Piedmont, the capital of Piedmont is now Sardinia which is held by Spain.

I think this is fixed by the fact you can only occupy non capital provinces of minors until you conquer the capital, and if you conquer the capital the entire nation goes to you.

I dunno, wasn't there a weird revolt there at one point where Sardinia/Savoy/Piedmont acquired Genoa somehow or am I just imagining that?

If you look at the flag part of the province label you can see that these countries are no longer associated with any minor nation. Whatever relationships existed originally have been broken.
