Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

The critically and fan-acclaimed Eastern Front mega-game Gary Grigsby’s War in the East just got bigger and better with Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: Don to the Danube! This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

There is command structure and there is penalty for being outside range of HQ

A shortcut so that you know instantly if any units are outside of HQ range.

In the unit info screen there ought to be a button that takes you to the unit's HQ - click the button and the game centers on that HQ unit. And the HQ unit has a “back” button to take you back to the original unit.

In the HQ info screen there ought to be a series of buttons representing each of the units under that HQ. Clicking on that button and the game centers on that unit.

SSG’s games do this at it works quite well!

There are bound to be different types of units on the map. Suggest a screen, similar to WitP screens, that list all the friendly units currently on the map.

- The screen would list a number of characteristics of each unit - name - unit type- combat value - etc etc
- The screen can be sorted by any characteristic.
- Drill down into any row and the screen closes and the game centers on that unit.
- A “back” button that opens the screen again, sorted as it was a moment ago.

A hotkey that highlights all the objectives. The highlight also shows how many victory points that objective is worth to each side if by some chance it were held from this current turn all the way to the end of the scenario.
