No trades

I am playing a historical replay using 1.76b. I manage every game for my team.

AI trades are turned on, and I have verified that by opening the psa file in Access. There have been no trades in my first season, and I am now past the trade deadline.

I went back to a previous save file from around July 15 in game time, and simmed one day at a time up to the trade deadline. There were several trades made between AI teams and a few offers made to me.

Is this a known behavior/bug, or is it just coincidence that there were no trades in this league while managing all of my own games?

I manage each game of my team, also, and the AI does trade, but not very often. However, I've made many moves over the current season, with several different teams. Perhaps this counterbalances the relative lack of independent AI activity.

So, it isn't a bug.

I've played about 3 or 4 historical seasons and have yet to see a trade. I was also wondering about this behaviour. It does not seem kosher to me ...
