USSR attacked me in Oct 1940!

Did anyone have this happen to them? I am still busy with France and wham the Soviets attack along my line. I had some troops still stationed there and was forming my own line but they beat me to the punch! Interesting twist.

I saw the October Revolution as part of a fleet attack me, its my goal to destroy that ship!

I have had them be very touchy about any stepping over the line in the Baltic States. I used to have the Germans move right up the coast, but now you will have to be very lucky to get Lithuania, without a full scale war. Don't even think about not honoring the pact.

I am glad to see such possible actions happen once in awhile. Keeps the Germans honest with regard to garrisons and border guards.

In my "Stavka Staff Notes" AAR my Soviets do not plan on attacking the Germans, but if I attack Sweden I will be at war with the Axis right away. Fun times!

my vote = good.
I know it opens the whole argument re: historical accuracy vs 'gamey-ness', but it is the "known unknowns" that make for differing strategic outcomes, and not a play it once and be done with it game.

It happens sometimes and that is the reason why I always try to shield the eastern border when plying as Germany.
