Kar 98K Schießbecher for the Grenadiere Squads

Post by Rift »

I would love to see all the Grenadiere (maybe not the MG teams though) squads issued with 1 Schießbecher, according to various articles some 1,450,113 Schießbecher rifle grenade launchers were produced with at least three different variety of nades produced.

I am aware that the Zugtrupps have them already but I feel that this weapon (that was used extensively by Axis troops) should feature a little more on the Longest Day battle fields.

Maybe if it is felt that by giving them to both the Zugtrupp and the Grenadiere this would be too much, if this is the case, I feel they should be removed from the Zugtrupp infantry and given to the Grenadiere. (A similar devlopment to that used by the Allied troops.)

In my attempts to engage AFV with this potent weapon I have to expose the limited numbers of my most important troops, the Zugtrupp, to a danger and a role that I feel in RL they would not have undertaken.

What are your thoughts?

(I'm playing a HvH campaign at the mo and I have already lost a couple of tanks to those US nade launchers [:(] I'd love to return the favour. [:D])
