?? about allied aircraft research and factory up grades

Post by Central Blue »

Anyone tweaking this in the new game?

Any suggestions?

Some of the aircraft factory upgrades seem awfully late in the game, like late 1945. Any possible benefit to "keep" instead of "upgrd" in December 1941?

Repair on or off?

Thanks to the folks that did all the work on this new version. It's come a long way since Pac War days

I suppose that production in America is just too overwhelming to be tweaked.

I'm just trying to root out the profiteers in the Military-Industrial-Complex creating aircraft updates that aren't needed if there could be more beans and bullets, or more planes that are good enough.

I don't think Allied production can be tweaked, not 100% sure, though.

Allied production is set in stone, that's part of the reason there are so many AFBs around, it takes brains to run Japan.[:D]

thanks for the comments.

Seems like those resources would go elsewhere if I chose to keep a factory and not repair it, but maybe it just comes out as generic supply, without alter the date any particular type of aircraft comes on line.

I seem to remember that there were tweaks for Pac War. But that was in the days of Compuserve and BBS.

I do hope you are wearing a fire proof suit...you're going to need it. [X(]
