now im confused.
Go to the website you posted and read their support practices. Tech support is by forum (only, I think, but there may have been some buried documentation on other kinds of support -- I couldn't find any, though).

I'm still confused, why would you need support??? Confusing.

MATRIX needs support, not me or you. There are already many people who complain that EiANW is not ready for public consumption. The situation would be considered far worse if they included a ZIP package in their product that later broke and could not be fixed.

A business requires a certain level of support whenever they incorporate another business' technology in their product. Businesses may very well use freeware internally (for inter-office documents, for example). But, they have to draw the line against it if the purpose is to include it inside one of their software packages.

Manpower is public. Money banked or loaned should not be public. All other monies should be public.

What "other" monies?

Jimmer means "revenue". Instead of the other players going around and adding up all the individual conquired states to check on an opponets revenue and MP base, it would be nice if all the oppoents revenue and mp was shown (not just the home nation). I don't think trade would be included in this total.

In the original game, trade was indeed included. Since that's something that can be manually calculated anyhow, it should stay the same.

However, the rules COULD be changed, if it seemed better to keep trade secret. I would be against such a change, but it's still plausible.

I would also be against such a change. Trade was EASILY calculated in Empires in Arms and so should it be in Empires in Arms.

Sorry guys, I did not mean to suggest a change, I'm just not that familar with the rules. If trade is no secret, then it would save everyone time if instead of showing just the home nation income/mp on the nation statistics page, all income (from home nation, trade and conquored minors) and all mp (from home nation and conquored minors) would be good to show.

Here is another item to add.

12. Modify the battle screens, both Naval and Land, to show the date, location and game name.

Thanks

Larry:

That could be done pretty easily.
Thanks for the help!

Adding one more for the list.

13. A marker on a Depot to signify if it is part of a valid supply or reinforcement chain? Sometimes a supply chain is cut, it would be nice if the supply markers showed say red or green as the background where the depot number is displayed. Also I think everyone should see this info, not just the owner.

Thanks

Another minor improvement I'd love to see would be to incorporate the depots into the forces list. I can't remember the explicit name of the button, but the one where you click and it tells you forces, location, and numbers. If into that list the depots could be added (province location, garrison numbers if any) that would be very helpful. On more than a few occasions I have not been able to locate depots that I had placed on map, so a method to find them would be awesome.

Cheers,

Ted

How about an Economic page? One of the fun things to do is to click on a minor, see how much money it has, figure out how much it needs to build what you want to build, exit back to the main screen, hit the give money button, now go back and do the builds. If you give too much now you have to reload the phase. Instead of clicking on each of the buttons, like the Income Summary, or the economic manipulation button, how about an economic screen where this data is presented. Have a list in a large box that has all of the FreeStates under control, Income and Corps info as far as how many factors. Click on the minor, build and have the program ask you to ok if it needs to take money from your home nation to build the factor. Also have the main build icons for your home nation including land and sea. Ask for the OK when you are done. After the builds are done it can then ask for you to assign any naval builds to a legal port.

Thanks

Along with this, remove or re-color city garrisons of 1 factor, unless besieged.

And, leader counters should be in a different color.

And for the next slight improvement to make public information easier to get to.

14. On the Surrender conditions page, have the actual number of ships listed in each fleet. This is public knowledge afterall.

Perhaps have the number of fleets each country has show up in the info box for each country?

Thanks

15. On the Battle Screen, after chits are chosen, have the projected Tables in light grey for the future rounds.

In this example it would be nice to have the Tables filled out for Round 2 and Round 3. Also how about the ability to hover over any of the listed Tables and it brings up the 0-7 die rolls and the information for those specific tables. If you really want to get fancy a way to look at the changes brought on by Guard commetment.

Thanks
