New to Matrix

Hi All! I'm new here and need to ask a 'ho-hum' kind of question. I'm an old Talonsoft guy and still play both West Front and East Front II on my new computer. I've been out of the loop for a number of years and am itching to get back into things.

I will purchase a matrix game at my soonest opportunity. Is there one definitive game that encompasses all that was good with the Talonsoft Campaign Series? 250m/hex, platoon to Corp, etc.? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
