P-70A Havoc mission buttons

I just happened to notice that when I check my night fighter units there is no Training mission available!

I've used them as LRCAP all the time but tried to change to something else and found that no matter what button you click on it stays with Long Range CAP marked.
I Think it changes because when I pick Naval Attack the Target Selector is greyed out but the change is not shown.

In case a save file is needed let me know.

Obviously you haven't tried selecting a day mission for the nightfighters. Then you'd know that they can also get their training (or rest).

You're quite right. Didn't think that you trained night fighters daytime so I never checked.

I found that when you switch from night to day and then back the other buttons are marked as selected until you once again select Long Range CAP and then you are back to the behaviour I described.

Something seems to be wrong but it's not exactly major.
