JJax, I ordered from NWS.But it doesn't matter now, its finally here!

Intense stuff this is.....playing coral sea scenario, I send a diversion Taskforce to keep the enemy away from Yorktown, it works beautifully, even scaring the enemy off in the Guadalcanal area, sadly the CA Chester and DD Perkins is raped by Val dive bombers and is sunk.[:(]

Whatever, this game is awesome![:D]

Glad to hear that. I understand your frustration. It's been almost a month since you ordered.

Congrats, V22, and kudos to you for your interest in this game. When I was your age, I would have killed for something like this, but then, I only had board games at that time, since there were no computer games. Thank God for Squad Leader!

Lord, have mercy... When I was his age, we only had AH's D-Day, and a very few others.. And I was basically focused on football, girls, and cars - and only had any luck with one of them.

Wait a second, being good at football usually means you get girls and so does having a car.

If you where not good at football or have a car, then you must have had a girl.

I don't see the problem.

Whew...lost the Yorktown, and the Lexington has is smoking.I was able to get 2 CA's and DD within fireing distance of 2 enemy carriers, damaging them both. But being used to War Plan Orange, I forgot about aircraft and my ships were hunted down.....1 CA sunk, 1 DD Heavy damge, 1 CA Heavy Damage.

Definitly a big leap from WPO, I'm enjoying smaller scale, and I'm also enjoying the more complexity believe or not.Very fun stuff.

Good deal, you are lucky to be young and have a game like this. Now please don't post anything that will spoil it for others. Post them in the 'After actions report'. Thanks and Good luck.[;)]

V22, this is all very interesting, I'm sure. We're dying to know if you received *the most important component* of the shipment. Namely, the little sticker on the manual that says 'made in China'.

How does the sticker look? Is it on straight? Pleasant coloration?

After all, the sticker was probably one of the reasons that it took you so bleeping long to lay hands on the game.

Enjoy!

The Sticker was pretty crooked, it's of course black and white(which looks terrible considering the rest of manual is color).Since the games a collector's edition, my Mom said to keep the sticker on because it would make it "more collectable", is this true?
