The Noble House of DeCastillo wishes to announce its peaceful intentions to the galaxy by renouncing expansionary territorial ambitions beyond our traditional homelands, namely Phaedrus, Kesh and Elyasium . We hope this announcement will be given the credence that such declarations have received through history, and remind readers of the unseemliness of uncontrolled hilarity regarding grave matters of state (or should that be planet?).

Signed,
Fernando "Can You Hear the Guns?" DeCastillo
Vizier for Extraplanetary Shenanigans

PS. Confession: I have opened this turn several times for various reasons (memo to self: read info first, play turn second ), including technical reasons. I don't think this is cheating, considering it was the first turn of a new scenario. I will never intentionally cheat, and I won't open any more turns more than once unless absolutely necessary for technical reasons. This may include my daughter turning off the computer in the middle of a turn, which has been known to happen. However, she has a very engaging smile, and on those grounds should be forgiven everything, in my opinion [8|] .
Furthermore, Carthage must be destroyed.

Don't worry Casus, I've had that sort of stuff happen to me before. Plus with the first turn, there really isn't all that much going on anyways.

Let me know if you run into any glitches/questions with the scenerio that I haven't covered/

The battle of Medjerda is almost forgotten, but was fought against highly disciplined German troops and blasted a route straight to Tunis it was a perfect infiltration battle and should be remembered as the best fought British battle of the war.

Well we're only to Turn 3, so probably too early to start posting one.... would give away too much about my plans to crush my oppo... er, I mean spread Peace and Harmony throughout the galaxy with happy thoughts about smiling puppy dogs and butterflies [8|]

Will start posting one as soon as it is practical to do so.

Turn 4 sent on.
Am slowly advancing across the map but havent made contact with anybody yet.
@GrumpyMel: Did you see that from the main screen by looking at all the planets or is there some statistic somewhere? That might be nice actually.
Btw: Will be on holidays for the next 10 days but hope to be able to get in the occasional turn but please expect some delays...
