CTD on Turn 114

[Heras Little Helper]

I have the following problems while playing the game:

At Gamesmenu, clicking Start results in a pop-up with this message:

Failed creating the Direct3D device.

Selecting play again starts the opening sequence. A second "World War II: ToW" window appears on the desktop. Must click opposite button to get to game load menu.

This is annoying, but doesn't affect game play once it starts.

More seriously, a CTD occurs at the beginning of Turn 114 (playing as Germany/Slovakia in Grand Campaign). Restarts produce same result.

A pop-up appears each time with this message:

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way

How do I overcome these problems?

Additionally, is there a listing somewhere describing what each Event does? Some are obvious, some are not.

About "Failed creating the Direct3D device" problem - does it happens all the time (even right after restarting your PC)? And second question: are you using two monitors, or just one?

About CTD: send Autosave folder to me (bleck[at]wastelands-interactive[dot]com) or to doomtrader (doomtrader[at]wastelands-interactive[dot]com). ConsoleOut.txt would probably also help  but you have to copy few last lines from it just after game crash because it is overwritten each time you restart ToW
