another question which bothers me since 42/03
why the heck are the first appearing replacements for the b25c -> dutch ones ?
and they even appear earlier and in greater numbers(45 pieces 42/03) than the us army ones (20 pieces 42/08) ?

Same thing happened to me. No serious air action during turn, but 288 A2A losses shown for allies including B29s. Note that the bogus losses are refelected in the total score and in the "Allied Aircraft Points Lost" value

The problem did not occur on the next turn. Hopefully this is a one time thing triggered by the patch.

No.18 Squadron RAAF was formed in Canberra on April 4, 1942 partially with Dutch personnel after the fall of the Netherlands East Indies. Though notionally part of the RAAF, it is in effect a Dutch unit, hence the Dutch replacement aircraft types.

No. 18 (NEI) Squadron RAAF - (AWM site)
No. 18 (Netherlands East Indies) Squadron RAAF - (Wikipedia)

The dutch aircraft are just more common as that is what is in the pool at 42/03. Expect the situation to reverse as the war progresses.
Cheers,
Reg.

(One day I will learn to spell - or check before posting....)
Uh oh, Firefox has a spell checker!! What excuse can I use now!!!

In addition, the Dutch replacement rate of 45 only lasts for a single month. In 4/42, the Dutch replacement rate drops to 0.

Can I assume you applied the database update to the save?

Interesting that you both are showing the same planes and loss numbers.

Sounds like something has intruded in to the tally list.

Ran the first turn and got same numbers but as Ops losses ... dim light starting to come on.

Confirmed it is a one time bug at conversion time.
It is incorrectly thinking that there are planes assigned to some groups that were delay = 9999, but are now in the reinforcement queue.
