Is there going to be a 2nd Edition reflecting game play changes, &c, &c, &c? In particular, updating/fixing the screen shots to reflect the accompanying text? If not, and if it doesn't violate any DMCA stuff, I'ld be happy to give it a shot. Either officially or unofficially.

Sorry, it was done with Adobe InDesign and we're not giving that file out.

Will you therefore be attempting to re-write the manual sections such as 5.1.3.10 which are incorrect ?

The long answer would be "No."  (I think I see where Terminus is coming from, God help me...)

Without the source code, any changes to the manual would be a cut and paste job at best. While I'm not a big fan of continuity and stuff like that, cohesion does have its place, and to backtrack the index and contents pages would be an exercise in, what's the word I'm looking for...  Sancta Maria!, even EMACS has its limits!

And that my friend, is the short answer.
