Szenario: The battle of coral sea

TF start with wrong name?
Here US Navy TF 16 is named TF17 ?
In that case, most of my TF are named wrong.

Would it be that this is a Task Force with the computer assigned ID number of 16 and a historical (player assigned) designation label of TF17??

They are not necessarily related and you can assign the TF17 label to any ID numbered task force you like.
