v1083c LCU global replacement toggle

Post by pompack »

Scen 01, v1083c

Select all ground units list from a base.

1) "Toggle all Replacements for units on this List" "ON" turns on replacements
2)"Toggle all Replacements for units on this List" "OFF" turns on replacements

Tried several bases and also cycled the turn to insure it was not an update transient. Both buttons turn replacements ON and neither turns replacements OFF.

Just want to confirm this bug.
Started a new game scenario 2 as allied. Turned all replacements off by default.

Checked and noted 2 units in the US, 2 in the PI, and 2 in China. Turned one replacments on and the other toggeled on then off.

Ran through 3 days checking stats each day, all units recieve replacements no matter their settings. I reveresed the current setting and ran another day to make sure and it makes no difference.

This is a game breaker guys, with zero control it removes a large part of the startegy. Hot fix coming?

M

(EDIT - ran a test to see if also happening with aircraft, seems to be LCU only )

If we can confirm this, we'll fix it. That's what the public beta is for. [8D]

Yep. This is a minor nit, not anything serious. Just wanted to let you know it is there

EDIT: Due to myros note above, I went back and checked again. Note that when you turn replacements "OFF" at the unit level they say they turn off and a quick test seems to demonstrate that they really, really are off.

Like I said, a nit.

Seems that the same commands are run for both ON and OFF.
Will adjust.

it has happened to me also, but it is a problem because now you have to turn off replacements to every unit individually. Thats is an awful lot of work rather than turning it all off and just turning on what you need[;)]
You have the ability to arouse various emotions in me: please select carefully.
