Using "On Map" Arcs

Post by Montbrun »

Beta v1083c - "Use Map" when defining patrol arcs no longer allows the map to scroll. I've tried different command line switches, but no go.

Same here.

I find the jump map on the lower right is an adequate workaround.

why do you need it to scroll, a click either side of the hex would
give you a 180, 2 clicks the hex above would be a 360 etc

Along the same lines: Is 0 degrees always at the top of the map, 90 degrees to the right side of the map and so forth? Where in the manual is this topic discussed??? Grumppy[&:]

Yes. And left click is always the start of the search arc and right click the end of the search arc.

Look at the top right hand corner of the map.

Thanks for the help. These patrol sectors are a great feature but a little documentation would have been helpful for those of us who are somewhat less than intuitive. [8D]

I want to see the range circles to assign my arcs - they aren't always seen on-map for longer-range patrol craft.

my friend its just a arc, you can dictate that by manually adjusting range yourself if you dont want aircraft moving out to far

I think someone already mentioned this, you can n olonger scroll the screen with the beta patch when assigning arcs. The mini map works.

From memory, the scrolling caused any underlying scroll box to reappear on the screen
