Stratagies for supply

Post by jgsIII »

Has anybody developed a supply plan for the Allies? I had a decent one for WitP Classic but it doesn't seem to apply in Witp AE.

Yep...best way to describe it.

You really shouldn't have many issues with "supplies" since Australia and NZ create their own now. Simply running in supplies from Cape Town to Perth periodically will keep Australia very well supplied.

Instead, the biggest issue will be with fuel. To increase Allied fuel, transfer all the dutch and a bunch of the British tankers to the West Coast...then keep them running full-time and have them well escorted. Also use xAK's to run fuel, too...their fuel capacity is half their total load capacity.

For a person still very new to the game and still enthusiastic, your reply is less than helpful. I would expect more from a "Matrix Elite Guard"... [:(]

So if I understand what you are saying is that if I setup a supply chain from Capetown running to Perth and Colombo, the Aussies in Aus. will be happy and I can supply Burma ooperation from Colombo. Fuel should be coming from both Abadan and West Coast into the theater.

Now I plan to supply most U.S. operations from the West Coast with a Pearl to Noumea or Rabual (if I can manage to hold on to it) chain for supplies and fuel. Will the Aussies be able to support Port Morsby if I and feeding Perth and taking out of North Aus. for supplies?

I want to take this chance to say to all the readers that I am just blown away by the leap forward AE is over WitP Classic (which is still dear to my heart). The task force routing and mission control are just outstanding! Air missions makes me smile every time I use it because it is way beyond what improvments I could have imagined for WitP Classic. You folks have done an terrific job and should be very proud of your product. Thank you for all your time and efforts.
