The Close Combat cd is needed to play

I recently purchased Close Combat-Cross of Iron and had it running on my Vista system, however I tried to get a mod going and now when I press play game I get "The Close Combat cd is required to play this game." I thought I saw a fix on one of the forums but now I can't find it. Can anyone out there help me?

You probably found the answer by now, but a refresher for those that might have the same problem, here's a link to the patch.

It's a case of the game looking for files that are not on your system.

The save game fix creates a default "saved game' that has stock files in it..

1. You may also get this message if you scroll down saved games or user created scenarios list and select games from mods that are no installed at present.

2. You may also get this error message if you do not have the maps the mod requires... it will say so in the error message.  to fix just install the missing map(s)
