Can't send zipped save file to forum

When I try to send post to forums with zipped attach file, there comes following message:
"CGI Timeout
The specified CGI application exceeded the allowed time for processing. The server has deleted the process."

And sometimes there reads that server not found...Is that my connection is too slow or attach file is too big (320kb)
So, where's the problem?
Without attach file post sending works right.

With the upload limitation set to 500kb, I would say it's your connection, which file extention are you using?

Sorry, that i'm stupid, but what do you mean that file extention?
My connection speed is about 40 000/ bps and that save file I tryed to send is 310 Kb. as zipped.

Example SPWAW.zip zip is the file extention. The reason I'm asking is that some zipping programs may use a different type of file extention. The only files the fourm will reconize during upload are .gif .jpg .png .txt .zip .bmp .jpeg .doc .pdf

Yes, of course:)
I use Winzip program and in the morning I sended my save file in the forum.Maybe connection speed is faster in morning.That's my problem, too slow connection (GPRS).
